Bottles in cool fruit cellar??

Feb 04, 2004 1 Replies

About a week ago, I bottled my first batch of home brew. For convience, I put the bottles in their origanal boxes and placed them in my fruit cellar.

The temp. in the cellar is about 50. Is that too cold? Or should I just wait more than 4 weeks? Should I move them to a warmer place?

I ask this because I have a second batch ready to bottle. Even though I know very litttle, I am really jumping in.

Thanks for any advice.

Bob

In cases such as these, I think the procedure is to open a bottle and have a homebrew. In article 3 of provisionary procedure a11.dr34d it says to relax... don't worry... and have a homebrew. Check your head! Victor
