just bought a 5gal keg.for my home brew.what I need to know is how to clean the hose's and gauges. there are directions for cleaning the keg.but none for the hose's and gauges. so do you clean them by just soaking them. thanks Jim p.s. the system is a cornelius

You don't need to clean the gauges because they only have CO2 and never have beer in them. Same for the air line and air in keg connect, it just gets air, not beer. After cleaning the keg, I put an iodophor solution in the keg, put the lid on and hook up both air and beer hoses, then push the iodophor through the beer line and faucet, seems to do a pretty good job for the last year. Also checck your faucet, you might be able to disassemble it and soak it and then put it back together.
