golden vanilla ale

Hi all...

On a recent trip to San Francisco my wife and I hit every brew pub we could find. At our last stop (thirsty bear brewing company) I came across something phenomenal: Golden Vanilla Ale. I couldn't stop smelling it...and it tasted just as good. So now I'm wanting to try to brew a batch of my own (extract). If anyone has any suggestions in terms of recipes please let me know. I can't stop thinking about it....thanks

Steve

Any other suggested hangouts in SF? I have to be out there in a few weeks and would love to checkout microbrews/homebrewer-friendly locales.

Thx,

YGW

Why yes...there's the San Francisco Brewing Company located on Columbus, the Magnolia Brewing Company located on haight street smack down in the middle of haight-ashbury, and the 21st amendment that's near the baseball park, it's actually only a few blocks from the Thirsty Bear. You may want to check online for the addresses. I had a map of the city that I was using to find my way around, and i had marked where each one was...unfortunately my dog found the map and ate the sections with the actual locations. One thing that I forgot about while there was the Anchor Brewing Company. Hope this helps

Steve
