Am thinking about buying some Listermann kits. There isn't much of a description with most of them. Any suggestions/experience. Can not brew lagers at this point. Thanks

I've tried a few with good results. (I'm not an experienced brewer, though. Just kit stuff.)
His Porter was one of my favorites, and his American Brown Ale is very tasty. He's always ready to provide advice, and for service and support I don't see how one could do better. Okay, I'm starting to sound like a commercial... Sorry! Anyway, while his website has a few holes in it, his beer kits are good.

I used to live in cincinnati, and visited Listermann's quite often. I would try the vienna lager.
