Newbie question?

I just made my fist batch and it came out and tasted like bad wine, and it was really bubbly, why?

We'll need a lot more information, there could be tons of reasons why. What ingredients were used in the recipe? What was the brewing environment and fermenting environment like? What kind of sanitation practices did you use? Those type of things...
