Brewers Coop in Warrenville (west of 59 on Butterfield) Winemaking (?) in Elmhurst (west of 83 on North ave)
Must be a chain? The one in Michigan (Livonia) sells Beer and wine making suppiles as well as the hyponics stuff. Good service and prices.

Waukesha, Wisconsin. About an hour drive from the northern suburbs. Great prices, excellant service and I know he does have Illinois customers.
There is also one in St. Charles that I go too. It is on the south side of North Ave if you are heading west and just go over the bridge (Fox River). It is on the corner. Nice place and selection of brews and equipment.
