Question about difficulty of beer recipe.. Belgium

Mar 14, 2005 1 Replies

I found a thread in the group that suggested buying beer from morebeer.com and I have found several beers that look excellent. The two I am leaning towards are the Belgium Dubbel and the Berry Beer but the problem is, I have only brewed homebrew 5 times with kits and simple ingredients. When I look at the kits on Morebeer.com, they state that they are advanced recipes but don't specify what exactly you are in for. Can anyone tell me if I will need additional supplies to make these or should I just forget these for now. I'm really wanting to move on to different things.

Thanks for you help

Looks like you be stepping up to the "all-grain" brewing method. All=grain is more involved than the simple extract or combo extract and partial grain you've probably dealt with.

which gives a good explanation of all-grain brewing and what is involved. You can decide for yourself if you want to tackle it.
