Buckingham Palace Garden Party tea

Kitty, I don't like a lot of flavoring in my tea, but I have found one blend I really like. It is Eight Bells sold from Tea Trader ( teatrader.com ) It's an Earl Grey with "extras". Here is their description of it.

Eight Bells (6.40/12.60/24.80) Admiral Grey's afternoon favourite combining Earl Grey, cream and flecks of passionfruit. How better to end the watch?

I believe that Jacksons of Picadilly makes a scented blend like this as well. I forget what they call it, but it is a combination of bergamot and jasmine and actually works well together.

I think the Buckingham Palace Garden Party tea is a semi popular blend since I found it at another online tea store as well, but I don't remember which, I have been surfing so many.

I think Bergamot and Jasmine is heavenly. I have decided Jasmine is my new favorite for anything. if I ever move to a different part of the country or world, I want to move to where Jasmine grows. LOL thanks Kitty

I can get it locally at the Williamsburg Pottery Factory food store, although their selection has been going down in the past couple years. They no longer stock the Jackson's _Prince of Wales_ for instance.

I think the standard jasmine can grow as far north as zone 6. If you are farther north than that, you can probably plant it indoors. If you are planting indoors, you might as well go whole hog and get the night blooming variety (which is not at all cold-hardy). I grew up with the stuff all over the place and it's sort of a familiar garden kind of smell for me.

I was in a sort of wierd place today, taking a bath with Jasmine soap and body lotion then a couple hours later drinking it in tea. I decided then and there that there should be at least a half day between the two. LOL Too weird otherwise.

Hi Kitty, I have a sample from McNabs tea labeled Buckingham palace. I havent tasted it tho, but it must be on their list. I found a black tea there from nine bend river near the wuyi?? Not a blend but they have it in other placed too (the nine bend),. They callled it "the burgundy of tea" that may have buckingham too, maybe notting hill? Definitely seen it at English Tea Store, and culinary tea store. I do not drink blends but like the nine bend. But I think it is a straight black from China. Well I guess I helped alot....Oh And jasmine grows well in Texas, Where are you from? Jenn

Hello Kitty again, I am in a weird mood so If I have repeated myself I am sorry, did someone say teatreasures? I think burning Jasmine oil in my candle scenter drive me away from jasmine teas too.. There should be more than a day between the 2..
