Containers

in your opinion what is the best type of container for storing tea?

I like metal containers with tight fitting lids.

Whatever it is, it has to be air-tight and stored in a cool, dry place. We use either metal tins (with tight-fitting lids), Ziploc (TM) bags, or Rubbermaid (TM) containers.

Tin box with air tight container. Example: ITC's container $2.50. I also personally happy with Upton's plastic bag containers with Zip lock. Thanks.

If you're willing to spend the money, the Bee ceramic cannisters with the gasketted clamp down lids are nice. Black, green, white, and blue are semi-obvious color codes.
