Hi Bluesea

because there's still a whole lot of excellent flavor in my green and white teas.

May I ask about your green tea? I am fast becoming a fan of green tea. Currently I'm drinking green tea that I got from

I thought it was expensive at first but when I get 3 cups from a teaspoon the cost seem reasonable.

Hi, Douglas.

Yes, you may ask ;). What would you like to know?

I keep a selection on hand + whatever samples catch my eye. My favorite standards are: ZG32 Green Dew Gunpowder, ZG09 Decaf China Green, and ZG71 Lung Ching all from Upton. I keep reordering samples of TG42 Mango Indica, but don't drink enough to warrant a regular packet. My latest acquisition is a decaf apricot sencha from theteatable.com that left me pleasantly surprised enough that I want to keep it stocked, also. Her s/h is too high, IMO, but I was ordering tea accessories anyway. I plan to try the one at specialteas.com next, to see if I might keep that one as part of my standard stock instead of the one at theteatable.

I use the same time for each infusion. I s'pose I could try to get more infusions by increasing the time, but after the 3rd infusion, sometimes sooner, I'm ready for a change which is another reason I'm so fond of the convenience of Chatsford and Teeli baskets.

Not only is the cost per cup reduced by multiple infusions, but because caffeine is so highly water-soluble, subsequent cups are very low in caffeine which is good for those who want/need to rein in the amount of caffeine they consume or who want to avoid caffeine later in the day/evening.

I'm not that much into Japanese teas, but you might be able to find teas that are just as satisfying for lower prices at Upton,

and SpecialTeas,

Others who are more into the Japanese greens than I am might post their favorite vendors, too.

Anything else?
