Infusing Green Tea

Jan 23, 2007 2 Replies

I use about one teaspoon of green tea leaves for every cup of tea I make and infuse for 3 minutes with water at a temperature lower then boiling.

Someone told me that with green tea, you can infuse the same leaves multiple times over a short period of time without issue. I've tried it and didn't see a problem. Do others do this as well?

If the tea leaves are good quality, you should be able to get more than 3 cups out of it.
