I finally got a chance to visit a newly remodeled Chinese store. The place is now as modern and big as any Super Walmart. I even tried the restrooms. Now the employees have to wash their hands. I teased myself by strolling other aisles before the teas. I didn't have my reading glasses so with arm in mouth I made a pass on top shelves and the several below. I came across the tuochas and bricks which I expected. As I got on my knees for the bottom shelf passing the 5 pounds bags of oolong and puerh I saw about twenty qizi (seven piece) bamboo bundles with wire wrap. One was ripped open for the curious who would do it anyway. They do that also for the tuochas and bricks. I really got up close to verify it said $18 and not $180. I got to checkout and the gals didn't recognize it so were going to tear it apart till I told them it was tea. I must have bought the first one. There is no English on the wrappers but the standard characters for Yunnan Chi Tse Beeng Cha China National...Export Corporation like the other 340g/12oz I have. There are three more characters for China Tea Branch which were new. The blemishes were different than the other wrappers. It is a cook puerh and the taste more prominent but more satisfying heretofore. The aftertaste lasted several hours. The bamboo is dried and fractures easily. The mass has a different aroma than each beeng. That completed my search for a bundle without paying for shipping from China. I also came across a 5 liter kettle with an infuser which I didn't buy. It could almost handle a 100g tucha. I got an oolong called HuangJingGui(HuangYan) from the Xiamen company. I guess from the taste it came from some outcrop in WuYi.
