Question about brewing tea with flowers

I am new to loose tea, and after drinking earl grey tea with blue flowers in it, I was hooked! I bought the loose tea, but how do I brew it without straining the flowers out? The tea I drank had edible blue cornflowers in it, but I can't figure out how to leave the flowers in while straining the tea leaves out... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
