Has anyone heard about research regarding health befefits of red tea, Rooibos herb. Various labels claim the similiar benefits of green tea, having polyphenols and flavonoids. In Spain I've heard a lot about it being useful for weight loss but not sure why or how and if there is any evidence supporting this. thanks Ian, ( snipped-for-privacy@all.info) ~~ all.info ~~ ~~ snipped-for-privacy@all.info~~

The best info seems to be that it's a bit less rich in the polyphenols and flavonoids than green tea. Some on-line info claims aren't apparently accurate.
