Damn, I haven't been on this group for a while, other priorities swayed me away from tea, but I am back. Seems the Signal to Noise (spam) ratio has turned dramatically for the worse. Also seems that real posting is light compared to two years ago.

Mike! How the heck have you been! Great to hear from you even if the old haunt is a bit cracked and broken. Yes, true in-depth posts are scarce these days but I have stuck around in hopes it may return to some former glory. Some core folks are still around or at least lurk, and sages like yourself are desperately needed.
I hope all is well and I'd love to know what you have been drinking or any new finds that might be noteworthy. All hope is not lost.

I have been alright. Had a rough spot in my personal life that sort of displaced everything for a while. I am back on an even keel now and have rediscovered my passion for tea. No new friends on the tea scene really, kinda been out of the loop, still got lots of old ones though. As for what I am drinking, today it is a fine TGY from a kind benefactor in NYC. When I get home I will dip into a 90s Mushroom Puerh that is somewhat picky about preparation but quite rewarding when you get it right.
