teahub.com

Has anyone in the group bought tea from teahub.com? I asked a question and got a quick detailed answer from "Linda" at the JinYuXuan Tea House in Kunming, Yunnan. They specialize in local teas, with quite a variety of Pu-Erhs as expected, but many are quite expensive (justly so, given their claims).

I would be grateful for any feedback.

Best,

Rick.

I have ordered some Tea from them. Delivery was prompt, teas were good, but expensive. They were indeed what they were advertised to be, in other words they were genuine and/or authentic. I have received some feedback from online tea friends who felt there was excessive hype from them, however I expect it from most vendors and I tend to tune it out.

I am not affiliated, just a customer....

I cannot see prices or shipping info on their site.

Alex.

I had to email them to get a pricelist.

Mike -

My experience in China and outside it taught me that if there is no pricelist openly available on a Chinese web site, this is a "laowai" site, meaning that if they get inquiry in Chinese their pricelist will be dramatically different from the same inquiry in English. Although I can put together a Chinese inquiry myself, I would never do that. I find that offensive and always boycott such sites. I also invite others to join me in doing so.

Alex.
