Forgotten Distilleries?

I am going to Scotland within a few weeks. I will be travelling round the country for 2-3 weeks and naturally I will want to visit a number af distilleries - but which ones! I would prefer visiting those, which the public have forgotten about; places where tourists seldomly make their way to.

Which "forgotten distilleries" are in your opinion definately worth while visiting?

P.S.: I have already visited the following

- All on Islay & Jura

- Bladnoch

- Blair Athol

- Edradour

- Gervin (Grain)

Thank you for your advice, keep the suggestions coming!

Actually, I forgot to add Glen Scotia & Springbank to my list of visited distilleries. They are both interesting.

When I was in Scotland about 5 years ago I visited the Clynelish distillery in Brora. I don't dare to say it's a forgotten distillery, but it wasn't exactly crowded ;o) I enjoyed the tour as I did (and still do) enjoy the Clynelish whisky.

Regards, Martijn.

I will go to the Clynelish distillery. Both because I enjoy the dram, but also because I have been told that Brora is a lovely village.
