Glenfarclas 15 year

Here in Washington State the Liquor Control Board, which is the monopoly seller of all hard liquors, i.e., not beer or wine, reports that it cannot obtain 15-year Glenfarclas as a special order (although the State does sell the 12, 17, 21 and cask strength versions). Am I correct in assuming that the 15-year is no longer imported into the U.S.?

I remember purchasing a couple bottles in Rochester, NY, several years ago, and I did pick up a bottle at Heathrow Duty-free earlier this year as well as a few miniatures in Scotland and London.

I was in contact with the rep here in Vancouver - she stated that Canada will not be carrying the 15yr (this is my favorite) as the profit margins are not there for this product, and they are only selling it in selected countries. The 15yr has been replaced with a 12 yr. It is fairly good as I have tried it, but it is not the 15 - it is still a sherry cask but is milder in flavor (so I think)

P.S. apparently there is still a few bottles left in Calgary as a co-workers father returned with some a couple of weeks ago - so there is still hope in finding some!
