Lismore

The bottle says it's a Speyside, although I canna find it in my little book. On a map, the island of Lismore is just northeast of MUll and northwest of Oban. Can't be right. The label says it's a single malt and bottled in California. The taste says it's bland.

Anybody else?

It may well be a single malt, but it's also found as a single malt, but there is no Lisburn distillery and doesn't seem to be available in UK... but then no doubt the original distillery product whichever it is will be...

Roger

should have read "also found as a vatted malt"

I too was at times mixing up the name Lismore with Lisburn (a town in northern Ireland).

Now I'm thinking maybe it's a rather young single male from a brewery which sold off it's excess; you think?
