peat's running out

peat is not a sustainable resource. soon u will have no stotch whisky. sorry guys...


  1. Peat growth heavily outnumbers the amount used for whisky
  2. Peat areas dissaperars around the world, but not for use in Malt whisky
  3. Still there's plenty of peat
  4. Peat is not an essential for making Malt Whisky, but optional

I might offend Islay fans by the last sentence, but I am an Islay fan myself and I hope other Islay fan understand what I mean :-)

I hope you do a better study before posting anything here again, but your postings until now looks quite unserious and that's probably how they will be received.....

I personally like the fact that we will soon have no "STOTCH" whisky.... for a minute there I was worried about my "SCOTCH" whisky :)
