Hello, can everybody tell me some about this Whisky: The Ileach - Islay Single Malt Whisky Alex

Absolutely. If memory serves me right, the Ileach is a young Lagavulin, offered in two versions - regular 40% (or 43%) and cask strength. I have had the pleasure of tasting rather intensively the cask strength version and absolutely loved it. Can't provide you with detailed tasting notes, but it was all you could expect from a good, peated Islay at a young age - straight in your face, iodine-peat-smoke monster that will teach you a lesson about whisky ;-) Go for it if you have an opportunity.

Cheers, Rajmund

Absolutely tasty. I loved it. On New Year's Eve we had the final dram from the non cask-strength bottle - great, great, great. Peaty, smoky, tasty, smooooth, hmmmm... ;-) Got a Coal Ila as a birthday present - I hope this one will be as good as the Ileach.
