Just saw this in the latest Malt Advocate that Sam's has purchased their own cask of Springbank 12 Year Old from sherrywood and they are selling bottles at 50% abv.... I'm curious, has anyone on the group had a chance to try this yet? Bushido?...

This one is not yet on the shelves. Sam's is notorious for their "pre-arrival" sales. I for one, am waiting to try before I buy to see how this stacks up against the last 12/100 OB. No price given, but you can bet it's not going to approach the deal the 12/100 was.
