Shipping Whisky To Canada Revisited

I ordered a bottle of Glenfarclas 30 year-old on December 13 from Loch Fyne Whiskies, to my home in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Happily, it arrived safe and sound on January 7 via the UK`s Royal Mail and our own beloved Canada Post. Personally, I`d have preferred that Loch Fyne used UPS or some other courier- I kept having nightmares about disgruntled posties guzzling my beautiful whisky during their lunch hour! But, it arrived as promised- and pretty quickly, considering that I ordered it at the height of the holiday rush.

I suspect that the words "Loch Fyne" are going to be appearing on my credit card statement with alarming regularity, although I`m sure to try ordering from other whisky merchants. Which brings me to the question:

"Which online whisky merchant has the largest, most eclectic and hard to find stock of single malts?"

I'm not sure - and I'm not sure if they ship to Canada, even - but you can try these two.

(I've only ever bought from the first one, not used the second yet.)

I don't know if these three will all ship to you, but good selections, nevertheless.

Hi Scott,

Congrats on your whisky arriving safe and sound but beware that had they used UPS or some other courier, the whisky would have likely been intercepted by customs. All packages entering the country via couriers are directed to the commercial branch of customs and their inspectors are much more thorough and diligent about inspecting packages. FYI.
