Tonights Tipple - anCnoc

Its a cold night (-5c) outside but I am warm inside in more than one sense. Currently trying out a new malt (for me), "anCnoc" (sic), someone recommended. The first n &C are silent, apparently, so its pronounced "Anock" A 12 year old highland malt from the Knockdhu Distillery . Spicy nose that I find difficult to define but wonderful honeyed foretaste thats completely contrary to the smell, a little on the sweet side, but with a very long smooth finish. Very, very drinkable this cold night. Any other opinions on this one from anyone. regards Jamaro

Sounds similar (to some extent) to the standard 10yo Bruichladdie. I found that to have a strong 'honey' overtone that I personally found distasteful but which my wife adores.
