Shipping Scotch

Our legislators in the land of the mostly free and conveniently brave deem it not a good idea to allow direct shipping of alcohol. This really wouldn't be a problem if there was anywhere or anyone that carried my favored Glengoyne. By any chance on god's green is anyone traveling to or from the homeland of all things not crap could be persueded to deliver some of that golden goodness to the area of Portland, Maine in the land that common sense forgot?

I hope I didn't come across as being too cynical about our fine elected body of representatives...

Have you been reading the works of your Uncle Sam(uel Langhorne Clemens)?

"History has tried hard to teach us that we can't have good government under politicians. Now, to go and stick one at the very head of the government couldn't be wise."

BTW I have received alcohol from the UK, but had to pay Import Duty which exceeded the actual value of the product! ;-(

You could call Park Avenue liquors in New York. I asked them about shipping to Florida, since it is prohibited here, and they just smiled and said give us you address.........
