Whisky and Music..

Hi all, I thought about it, and it seemed like a nice idea, posting what kind of music you like listening to while drinking Scotch. Well, i'll start with one of my own..

When i drink Whisky (mostly Dewar's 12), I really like listening to Uri Bracha, a great Israeli jazz guitar player. (If anyone wanna try - i can sned some of his stuff by mail or Google Talk.)

One of the things we do as a band is present the 6 producing regions of Scotland's SMW. We project on a screen how its made, I talk a load of nonsense ( well, sometimes nonsense and sometimes I actually tell the truth) and whilst people are tasting, we play traditional tunes from that area. When I am drinking at home I usually play Silly Wizard or some other folk band. We held a Burns Night ( on Burns Night) and we played for ourselves, but also played Andy M Stewarts tribute to Robert Burns CD. We also played Dougie MaCleans tribute CD.

Peace,

Collections of operatic arias. Anything else I'm listening to these days, including vintage Rolling Stones, Neil Young and Lucinda Williams. Sometimes jazz, especially Mingus.
