I'm looking for a good encyclopedia. If possible in german. What is your favorite? I'm mostly interested in Single Malts.

Someone else may have a favorite in German.
In English, Michael Jackson's "Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch" is a good reference. It lists more individual bottles and labels of Single Malts than any other.
There are many other good books about whisky, but MJ is very comprehensive. It's a very good place to start.
Hope someone else has good ideas for a book in German.

Dann gibt es noch das Whisky-Lexikon von Walter Schobert, erschienen bei Krüger. (Kosten rund 25,60 EUR)
