just out of curiosity, how much would a bottle of johnnie walker red label ( 1/2 gallon) bottled in 1975? Could someone direct me to some info? thanks for your answer

JW Red is cheap stuff to begin with. IF the seal on the bottle is perfect, then it won't have lost any character during the 30 years it's been in glass--but of course it won't have gained any, either. On the other hand, if the seal is less than perfect, then some of the volatiles will have evaporated off, lowering the quality of the product even further.
To answer your question: there is no reason to expect that it would be worth anything other than the current retail price, at most.
