Bill thanks for the notes. The 61 Haut Brion is one of my favorites of all time. Well at least my time:) Ive been fortunate to have quite a few of that bottle.

( I believe the 1961 Lafite sold for about US$12 per bottle
an absolute steal, 110gbp a bottle, ( depends on condition I suppose)
just put toe in water with 2009, Poujeaux at 210 gbp and Lanessan at 100gbp
have option on Pontet Canet, rumour has, More than
1000gbp.....................gulpJT

Yikes! I have an option on some Pontet as well. If your reporting proves accurate I certainly won't take it up. A few extra '05's instead? Only '09 so far is some Duhart Milon.
