Rummaging around the cellar this weekend and I came across a bottle of
1994 Ch. Cordellian Bages. I'm not sure where it came from although I stayed a Cordellian Bages a few times over the years so perhpas from a trip. The wine was still quite dark although quite brickish at the rim. Nose was of roasted coffee and sour black cherries. The wine tasted of cassis and cedar but for every positive there was a negative. Unbalanced, weedy, acidic, tannic, oaky are discriptors that come to mind. Not enjoyable. "C-"- posted
