Saturday (much earlier in day, well before the big B2K tasting in city) I was at the Zachy's tasting of some 2001 and 2002 Bordeaux wines. Both vintages showed ok, with the pourers seeming to think 2002 would be longer-lived. I don't have my notes, but liked:
2001 Lagrange (St. J.)
2002 Ch. d'Issan
2001 Corbin '01 Cos was very good, '02 was shut down but potentially very powerful. I thought the Malarctic LaGraviere blanc was nice, especially the 2001. The Malarctic LaGraviere rouge I found lean and unimpressive in both vintages.
2001 Pichon Lalande was very good, with none of the greenness the 2000 showed that night. Dale
