2009 Domaine de Montille Beaune 1er Les Perrieres

I was offered a great deal on a number of Montille wines (Domaine, Maison Deux Montille and Chateau de Puligny Mont.) and the offer was too good to pass up so I ended up with a few assorted cases of 2008 and 2009's. I opened a bottle of the 2009 Domaine de Montille 1er Beaune Les Les Perrieres last night. Clear bright burgundy red in the glass. Nose of red cherries and clove. Very aromatic. Sweet cherry fruit upfront with a good earthy minerality and a zippy fresh acidity. I believe that this would appeal to Dale. I think a few years will benefit this wine. "B"
