A satisfying Pinot Noir for $13

I was reluctant to post anything because I never posted a TN before. I don't have the nose/pallat that many of you do to give such detailed descriptives. I do have a lot of experience drinking a variety of aged wines. On to the wine... Mark West Edna Valley PN 2002. I was not expecting much, especially for $13. Well, it is medium dark in color, (you almost can't see through it), medium bodied (for a PN), mouthfilling (like their website states), smooth, and actually has a nice lingering aftertaste. Needs a little time in the glass to lose that young-fruit nose though. No earthyness, and not overly oaked. Just enough richness for me in a PN. I will buy more. Of course I am interesed in what others may think.
