This might also be more commonly tasted, hence provide a benchmark for my (likely lousy, hence need for benchmark!) palate.
I was a fan of the 2001 Toasted Head Chardonnay (picked by Jenny on the basis of the eccentric name and label!), and have just started to enjoy the 2002 also: melon and floral nose, tart but smooth attack, slight oak, very enjoyable (despite being paired on the first evening with a variety of Indian dishes) and lasted well (little change noticed) in the fridge overnight, good when drunk alone.
