Ch. Larose-Trintaudon (Haut-Médoc) & Ch. Bel Air (Haut-Médoc)

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone has any info or tasting notes on either of these two:

1997 Chateau Larose-Trintaudon - Haut-Médoc
1998 Chateau Bel Air - Haut-Médoc

Thanks,

Zephyr

Larose-Trintaudon is a favorite around this house. We believe that it gives the most "bang for the buck" of comparably priced wines. There are many better, and many cheaper. This is a good mixture. We drank a lot of the '97 and are now on the '98. It is a mass produced wine that does show much difference from vintage to vintage. I buy it by the case. It is our "house wine". We pay around $15 for a bottle. It was recently on sale for $9.

The only Bel Air I have had was much older, 1983. It was very good. I haven't had any in a few years so that is all that I remember.
