Covey Run Columbia Valley Riesling 05

A bottle of this accompanied dinner tonight; dinner being rice, various vegetables and a stellar chicken curry. The wine stood up to the strongly spiced food admirably, and was quite superb on its own [we'd had a glass before the meal, then more with it]. Light straw yellow in colour with a lovely nose - very zesty with strong aromas of citrus and peach, and a great taste that had a bit of residual sugar balanced with good acidity. Was slightly off dry, and had a lovely clean finish.

And best of all, I picked it up at a nearby supermarket for something like 8 or 9 USD. Thumbs way up for this one (and definitely one to try and get hold of again, especially at that price - real value for money!)
