Dunn Question (again)

I asked this same question in December and was happy with the responses then -- but I just got another bottle of Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet and this is nagging in the back of my mind again.

The 1995 Dunn Howell Mountain that I got in December came with a small chip in the red wax cap -- just the slightest fraction of the cork was exposed. Well, I just got a 1999 Dunn Howell Mountain and last night I managed to chip some of the wax off this bottle. The wax came off part of the "lip" of the top of the bottle. This time the cork is not exposed at all.

Last time asked this question, the responses said that I really don't have anything to worry about. Still, I feel like an idiot for chipping it and I have irrational nagging concerns. I'm hoping someone can reassure me that the wine is fine and that my concerns are indeed irrational. By the way, I will not be reselling either bottle so resale value isn't a concern. I just want to make sure the wine or cork won't be damaged or if there is anything I should do -- like fill it in with candlewax or something else like that.

Thanks for any responses -- again.

Sorry, Rob, but the wine is irretrievably ruined. You'd best just send it to me now ;-)
