There is (supposedly) a French tradition that a couple moving into a new house is given a bottle of red wine and a bottle of white wine. One of them (specified but I forgot) is supposed to be opened the day they move in, and the other (some specified time) later.
Ever heard of anything like this? What is the actual tradition and how did it originate?
