Weak site, with no info on sensory evaluation. Might also help to get an english speaking person to edit.

With respect, I made a few notes on the text of the page, that follow:

In the beginning, take a clean glass of wine. [Would change this to: ... take a clean wine glass, free from any aromas... ] The border [rim] of the glass should be tarwarding [taper inward] inside in order to help funnel aromas to the nose, and allow you to be dizzy without littering your $100 shirt [I understand the humor here, but "allow you to be dizzy," is a problem for me]. Hold the glass only by its stem. Next step is to pure [pour] some wine into the glass. not [Not] so [too] much, just [enough] for the [a] taste. If you have the erge [urge] to taste more than one kind of wine, you should start with the lightest [ and driest] wine and continue [progress] to the heaviest kind of wine. You should do so in order to taste each one with a [to get a] seperate [separate] opinion [of each]. You can also dring [drink] a small portion of water [or eat an unseasoned cracker/bread] between each taste

First thing to value [evaluate] is the color of the wine. It's helpfull [ helpful] to check the wine against a light background [white tablecloth or paper is ideal]. You can learn all about [maybe "a great deal' here, as you cannot learn ALL about the age] the wines [wine's] age by it [substitute " color' for "it"]. Wines changes [often experience a color change] their color when they aged [age] to the oposite of their [not "opposite," but the color often does change and this might be quite noticeable] original color. Without judging the sines [wine's] age, looking at its color is a nice experience. move [Move] the wine with a spinning or whirling ["swirling" is often used here] motion a couple of times. this [This] will help the wine breath and make it easier for you to smell [aspects of the wine]. [It also releases many compounds in the wine]

Tnow [Now] its [it's] time to breath it in. Write down your notes from the wines [wine's] aroma. [This is where I would make the paragraph break] Now taste it, "play" [Play] with the wine inside your mouse [mouth - I think that the cat in photo #1 might like the "mouse" aspect, but think you meant something different]. When tasting more than one kind of wine in a winery tasting room, usually [often] your host will give you a large container for you to spit out the wine and not swallow it so you will not become drunk [ maybe something like "have your senses dulled... ]. It's not rude, it's [It's] normal to do so. To summ [sum] it up, wine should give you pleasure regarding al [all] your senses. So start tasting the wine!

Obviously, these are just suggestions.

PS, I really liked the cat and wine (picture #1).

In addition to Hunt's comments, "breath" (a noun) should be "breathe" (a verb).

Also, down at the bottom, the text

contains a link (winery tasting) which links to wine-wiki.org (and that redirects to

Unfortunately, the wine referred to in wine-wiki is not made from grapes. It is a WINdows Emulator - software which lets non-windows computers run windows apps.

These kinds of errors tell me that theer was no checking at all of the information that was put on the site, and it inspires no confidence in me.

LOL. Yeah, that's what I used to do when I was young. Now I usually pour it into a large mug first.

Jose,

Thanks for that edit. I guess that I was too caught up in some other aspects of the site and missed it entirely. I did not try the links, but went to work on the text of the main page.

I guess that I was so happy to actually have a "wine" article posted here, that I lost control!!!!
