We picked this bottle up somewhere in St Estephe in the late 90's. I treid to look it up yesterday and could find nothing on the web. It was bottled at Ch. La Hsye but their site has nothing on it.
So, decided to open it. Very good deep red colour - no real signs of ageing around the rim. Typical Cab-Sauv bouqet, but not much of it. Perhaps a hint of aldehydes. Not much fruit on the palate but some acidity and tannins left. Overall a pleasant, but not outstanding drink - and it opened up after an hour or so. Vacu-vined onvernight and will try it again this evening.
