Kind of getting off the beaten path here, but any suggestions for wineries to try in the Nevada City area? Renaissance has received some national attention. They make Rhones, which interest me, but have received most of their awards for Cabernet Sauvignon, which doesn't interest me. And of course, Renaissance has the accusations that it's a cult, which has been posted in this newsgroup before:
