Does anyone know of a nonalcoholic wine that actually tastes like wine and not grape juice? Sutter home/fre doesn't even come close.
Thanks!

I'd be interested in that as well.
Unfortunately, I have to tell you that the answer is no. I've had the opportunity to taste the same wine with and without alcohol side-by-side and somewhat to my surprise (though I probably shouldn't have been), alcohol is an essential balancing element in wine. In other words, without it, it doesn't taste like wine. So in my mind, the phrase "nonalcoholic wine" is an oxymoron. "Wine" of the likes of Fre suffers from another problem: it was bad wine even before it was de-alcoholized, so there's at least two reasons why it's bad. And based on my experience, that might be OK since de-alcholization is not something you'd want to do to good wine.

Le Mousseaux Non Alcoholic Sparkling Cider is ok(they were clients of mine)
I doubt if any excellent producer of fine wine cares to make a non-alcoholic version---there's no market in the US for it & Martinelli cider is ubiquitous
Perhaps a fruit wine specialist like Bartlett of Maine or Nashoba of Massachusetts has a non-alcohol wine.
