Interesting tasting conducted by the NY Times. As usual, I agree with much that Eric Asimov has to say. In this instance, he's tasting a number of St.-Emilions from the much-talked-about '03 vintage. In particular, they try the notorious '03 Pavie (bottom line: neither nectar nor poison). Their WOTN was a surprise, the unheralded (and cheap) Ch. Destieux. Here's the link:
