Because of a recent change in the law here in Idaho, wine stores may now sell port. A store near me just got several bottles Graham Vingtage Port for the following vintages and prices:
1977 (USD119)
1983 (USD64)
1985 (USD78)
1991 (USD74)
I've been trying to get some information about these wines -- specifically tasting notes and estimated maturity windows. So far, all I can find are Robert Parker's points given -- 95 for the '77, 94 for '83, 97 for the '85, and 94 for the '91.
I'd like a top bottle of vintage port that I can drink now or at some point over the next few years. Does anyone have any notes, experience, or comments on these wines?
Thanks,
Rob Adelson
