Re: Old champagne

About four years ago I had a 1914 and 1921 Pol Roger that were stored in the cellars of Pol Roger and brought out just for our tasting. The were different but still had some nice yeast and fruit and a slight amount of effervesce. The were very interesting wines. I guess proper storage of good wine made the difference.
