Stelvin from France good wine

Ok, the little airplane bottles and some low end pays d'oc, but yesterday I picked up a 2003 Pouilly Fuisse from Verget with GASP! a screwtop. Haven't had a chance to taste yet, but it won't be corked.

Verget has been putting an increasing number of their wines into Stelvin-enclosed bottles, and I say bravo to them! The more the better. Ease of opening combined with the elimination of cork taint makes this a win-win in my book.

Cheers!
