Hello,You may recall that about a month ago I posted on this newsgroupasking for advice on what kind of awful wine I should get to serve tomy girlfriend's father upon asking him for her hand at a party. The idea was that everyone would have a glass of wine and after thetoast we'd all drink...a glass of the worst wine in the world! Rightafter the swig of the awful vin I will say something like, "you thinkthat's bad, I want to marry your daughter!"I took Tiggrr's advice and combined a four dollar white and a 3 dollarred in a red bottle. It smelled like rotten socks. It was going great until my girl's father took a swig. He spat it outand then slapped my face. I really thought he had a much moreadvanced sense of humor but I was wrong. He told me that I would nevermarry his daughter as long as he was alive. I thought he was jokingand told him that if that was the case I could arrange to have himkilled. He really didn't like that at all. The worst part is that my girl actually broke up with me! I told herit was a joke but she sided with her dad.So, all I have to say is, THANKS A LOT EVERYBODY! YOU SCREWED UP MYLIFE. JUST SO YOU KNOW, I AM CONSIDERING LITIGATION AGAINST SOME OFYOU.Blake

How many producers still add viognier? From what I heard, I don`t think too many do anymore. Thanks for any clarification

yes, sorry, I (rightly or wrongly) equate use of more than one exclamation mark with a smiley. I've got no plans to start to using l33t either.

One never knows. Perhaps the father-of-the-bride-to-be, was really put out that the suitor had such bad tastes, as to inflict this plonk on his family. While it seemed like a weak idea initially, maybe it helped weed out the potential gene pool. I doubt that I'd want one of my daughters breeding with the likes of this one!
