TN: 2 roses and a Chassagne 1er by river

Wednesday was hot but clear, in the shade by the river it was pretty comfortable. The Hastings Jazz Collective includes a few friends, and put on a nice show. We had lobster salad, steak salad with tzatziki, lonza, orzo/feta/marjoram salad, cheese, and more.

2013 Bouard-Bonnefoy ?Les Vergers? Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru I understand low-sulfur so I thought I?d beat the premox. Sweet ripe pear, some oak and butter, big. Doesn?t have the minerality I was hoping for. B-

2018 Bonneliere(Plouzeau) Rive Gauche Chinon Rose This is sweeter than expected, modest acids, lots of strawberry but not a lot of interest,. B-

2018 Commanderie de la Bargemone Rose (Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence) Crisp, raspberry and citrus, light but fun. B

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice.Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
