This one is cab as it should be: an explosion of aromas and notes. Granat red. The nose is just unbelievable: cassis, coffee, tobacco, maraska cherries, sandal wood. The palate just as rich: woody notes, sweet fruits, maybe chocolate. Very intense and concentrated. Finish lasts reeeeealy long. I had it with gnocchi with roasted chanterelles, rosemary and hot peppers. Would probably be great also with lamb chops or some dark stew. Would love to try other Margaret River wines. Any hints/recommendations?

Anything by Voyager Estate (the shiraz especially) or the Moss Wood Cab Sav are well worth hunting down. Leeuwin Estate is probably the pick of the bunch for whites.
