TN: good Cab Franc

With some grilled pork chops in a teriyaki-ish marinade, corn on the cob, summer squash, and coleslaw, the 2007 Bernard Baudry "Les Granges" Chinon. Light, fresh, and juicy, pretty black raspberry and cherry fruit, peppery spice, light soil notes. Seemed a bit dilute at first, but it filled out with air to make a nice albeit light fresh red. What one looks for in Loire Cab Franc on a summer day. B+/B

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C mediocre. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
